Films made by students in our department will be screened at Paramount Studies tomorrow in Los Angeles.

The films premiered earlier this month at the Canes Film Festival, a showcase of 90  short films created by students in the University of Miami School of Communication Motion Picture Program. Films represented multiple genres, including documentaries, comedies, dramas, and thrillers. A jury of industry professionals gave feedback and decided which films deserved to be named the Best of Fest and go on to L.A.

At Paramount Studios, the films will be screened at a special event for School of Communication alumni and influential Hollywood film executives. Students will have the opportunity to meet the executives and network.
