For the next enrollment class at the School of Communication Graduate School programs, applications are due December 1, 2011.
Admission is granted only for the following fall semester. Applications submitted by the December 1 deadline are given priority review. However, applications may continue to be submitted for all graduate programs past the December 1 deadline and will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Assistantships may also be available following priority review.
The School of Communication’s graduate degree programs include the Ph.D. in Communication, M.F.A. in Motion Pictures, M.A. in Communication Studies, M.A. in Health Communication, M.A. in Intercultural Communication, M.A. in Journalism, M.A. in Multimedia Journalism, M.A. in Communication for Social Change, M.A. in Television Broadcast Journalism, and M.A. in Public Relations.
The M.F.A, degree is awarded in Production (cinematography, directing, editing), Producing, and Screenwriting. The School also offers a Spanish Language Master’s program in Journalism (Periodismo).
